Looking outside my window and seeing all the leaves try on new fabrics of orange, red, and yellow, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this poem. The themes of life and decay, pregnancy and birth were very beautiful to me, particularly the lines "Green moss covered branches / and flame coloured leaves, / air pregnant–with / the eternal cycle / a gracious dance–of life and decay."
A cycle as old as the universe - or perhaps, even older? Now we are getting somewhere!!
