Gaia's Gravity

A space poem

Floating around

in gravity’s absence

Astronaut feels,

while looking astounded 

through the round window

of his little spaceball,

Gaia’s gravity

tucking at his heart

pulling him down

pulling him home.

And he knew keenly

in that vast moment,

that he had never loved her more.
